What Is Hell Really Going To Be Like?

The main reason I am doing this web site is because I really do believe there is this awful place that Jesus called hell.

When we die we could spend all eternity there if we don’t except Jesus as our Savior.

Why do I believe this? Because I have studied the Bible for over 30 years and that is what bible scripture tells me.

I love people and God has put a burden on my heart to spread the gospel (good news) to those who are lost and in need of a Savior.

I heard people say that God is a good God and He would never send anyone to hell. I believe this to be true in a way, because if you don’t except Jesus as  your Savior, you have made this choice yourself.

It is God’s hope that no one would go to hell, that is why he has given us a Savior, and by rejecting Jesus, you have rejected God. As God has made a place called heaven for those that love him, he has also made a place called hell for those that reject Him.

The choice is in your hands, God will not make it for you. He has given everyone a free will to make their own choices and will never take it away. Hell, was never meant for man, but for the devil Lucifer), and the other fallen angels who fallowed him. They are the ones whom we call demons (Matthew 25: 31-46).

In the church today you will not here the word “hell” mentioned to often. Most pastors want to keep the their message positive and they believe that if they talk about hell to much, it might scare people away.

I am not trying to depress you. I am only telling you this because I care about you and want you to know the truth. Friends don’t let friends drive drunk, and neither do friends let friends go to hell without at least trying to do something to save them.

If a family was driving down a road and you knew up ahead there was a bridge washed out, wouldn’t you do all you could to help warn them? That is what I am trying to do, warn you, that if you don’t except Jesus as your Savior,  you are heading straight for hell. I hate to be blunt, but I have to tell you the truth. If this is where you have decided to go, you should at least know where you are going.

THE DESCRIPTION OF HELL

When the Bible was translated from Greek to English, there were three words used to describe “hell,” Geena (twelve times), Hades (10 times), and Tartaros(used 1 time). Jesus used the the word hell (Geena), as a metaphor to describe a awful place where your spirit will go when you die, if you don’t except Him as your Savior.

What Jesus was referring to when He used the word hell (Genna), was a dump outside of Jerusalem, where the fires never go out.

There was an awful stench there from burning dead animals and the bodies of criminals who were killed. It was also known as the Valley of Hinnon, where years before the Amorites would offer human sacrifices to their god Molech. The Armorite people would get the statue of Molech red hot and women would put their babies in his arms. Talk about sick people.

The word for hell (Genna), was used 12 times, (Mark 9:43, 45, 47; James 3:6; Matthew 5:22, 29, 30; 10:28).

The next word used for hell is (Hades). This verse will give a good description of how this word is used:

“The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he has done. Than death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If any one’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:13-15, NIV). This word was used 10 times; (Luke 10:15; Matthew 11:23; Acts 2:17,31; and revelation 1:18; 6:8; 20:13,14).

The last last word used for hell is (Tartaros). “For God did not spare angels when they  sinned, but sent them to hell” (2 Peter 2:4, NIV). Those were the fallen angels (demons), who rebelled against God in heaven. This was who hell was made for, Satan and the fallen angels (demons).

God gave you the best He had to give. He didn’t send an angel here to suffer and die for our sins, instead he allowed His Son to do it. This should show you how much God loves you.

Jesus was perfect in every way, without sin, yet He took on all the sins of the world.

I believe that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have so much love for each other, when one suffers, they all suffer, but they knew what had to be done for the salvation of mankind.

The Bible says that there will be a new heaven and earth, sin will not be allowed there, that is why someone had to pay the price for our sins. If you reject Jesus, than you reject the Father, and you will be separated from Him for all eternity, in a place called hell, with Satan and the demons.

The decision to accept Jesus as Savior will be the biggest decision in your lifetime. Please take time to think about it. If I am wrong about this, than what harm has been done. But, if  I am right, and I believe I am, with everything that is in me, without accepting Jesus as Savior, your new home will be hell for all eternity.

When Jesus was hanging on the cross He said: “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”

After being beaten and nailed to a cross, you would thank that Jesus would hate those that did this to Him, but instead, while still hanging on the cross, He asked his Father to forgive them. Why would He do this? I believe it was because He knew his Father’s wrath, where those would go who rejected Him and his salvation that He provided for us. Jesus while nailed to a cross, bloody and bruised, and actually had pity on those who did this to Him. Think abut it!

One thing that we do know, no matter what word is used for hell, it is going to be a place of eternal suffering.

These are some other descriptions for hell:

“The everlasting fire,” Matthew 25:41 and Jude 7.

“The lake of fire,” Revelation 20:15.

“The unquenchable fire of hell,” Mark 9:43.

The blackness of darkness,” Jude 13.

In in Luke 16:19-31, Jesus gives us a parable to describe the condition of hell.

Our time on earth is short compared to eternity. You don’t have to go to hell. God has given you a free pass, through Christ Jesus. You only have to take it by accepting Him as your Savior.

If you don’t know how to do this, click on my previous articles, “How To Get Right With God,” or “God’s Redemption Plan—Jesus, The Only Way To Heaven.”

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1, NIV).

“In the same way, I tell you, there will be rejoicing in the presence of angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10, NIV).

“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys to death and Hades (hell), (Revelation 1:18, NIV).

Why is there so much rejoicing in heaven when we repent and except Jesus as our Savior? We must be saved from something that is really bad.

  3. I intended to send you one bit of word in order to thank you very much yet again on the wonderful secrets you’ve shown above. It’s so shockingly generous with people like you to deliver without restraint precisely what a few individuals would’ve offered for sale for an e book to help with making some bucks for their own end, even more so given that you could have tried it if you ever decided. Those principles as well served to become a great way to be sure that other people have the same desire much like mine to see a lot more when it comes to this problem. I think there are numerous more enjoyable sessions ahead for individuals who take a look at your site.
